Star City Supper Club - BBQ Under the Star at Mill Mountain
The River and Rail and Chef Aaron Deal are excited to announce the summer installment of the Star City Supper Club:  The Summer BBQ Under the Star.  This will be an event to celebrate the bounty of Virginia in summer, and to benefit the Roanoke Outside Foundation.

Join us on Thursday, August 9, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM under the Mill Mountain Star in Mill Mountain Park for to enjoy the best summer fare Virginia has to offer.  Chef Aaron has gather some of The River and Rail's favorite purveyors for an informal dining event like none other.  For $95 per person, plus tax and ticket service charge, guest will enjoy seafood, produce and meats from local and regional famers and procurers.  Featured purveyors include:  Thornfield Farm, Patchwork Farm, Rappannock Oyster Co., Border Springs Farm, and Local Seafood Delivery.  We will also feature wine and beer from two of our favorite producers -- Blenheim Vineyards and Parkway Brewing.

Throughout the evening, guests will be encouraged to meet and interact with these guest purveyors, each of which has helped to provide The River and Rail with the best quality ingredients for the last six years.  Live music will add to the natural beauty of Mill Mountain Park to make this a memorable evening for all.

We are very pleased to benefit The Roanoke Outside Foundation with the  majority of the proceeds of this event.  Roanoke Outside has been a huge force for positive growth and change in our community, and a valued partner for The River and Rail many times before.  We welcome the opportunity to spend this evening celebrating the natural beauty and bounty of our region, and an organization that works tirelessly to make both more accessible for all.

Further information will be provided as the event nears.  The ticket pricing will include all beverages and food for the evening.

Please note that tickets are refundable up to 72 hours prior to the event.
