Barangay Los Angeles presents the Kapwa Awards, a benefit to celebrate 23 years of successes, advocacy, and community work.
The theme of the Kapwa Awards is "Everyday LGBTQ Heroes Empowering Our Community" which will showcase the successes that amazing individuals have achieved to uplift the Filipino LGBTQ community. These people and organizations have helped pave the way for advocacy work and have inspired confidence in many others. These honorees have made significant contributions to the Filipino American LGBTQ community.
