VernalUTAH's Storytelling Festival
March 21-22, 2019 at 7 PM

Back to entertain and delight folks of all ages, the 16th annual VernalUtah Storytelling Festival presents two spectacular nights of tails.
This year the line-up is one you don't want to miss!

Bil Lepp
Bils humorous, family friendly tall-tales and stories have earned the appreciation of listeners of all ages
and from all walks of life. Though a five time champion of the WV Liarss Contest, Lepps stories often
contain morsels of truth which present universal themes in clever and witty ways. Audiences all across
the country, from grade schools to corporate execs to the Comedy Centrals Hudson stage, have been
delighted by Bils mirthful tales and delightful insights into everyday life. Bils books and audio
collections have won awards including the PEN Steven Kroll Award for Childrens Book Writing, Parents
Choice Gold awards, and awards from the National Parenting Publications Assoc., and the Public Library
Assoc.

Elizabeth Ellis
Elizabeth Ellis grew up in the Appalachian Mountains and was a childrens librarian at the Dallas Public Library before becoming a professional storyteller. The Divine Miss E is a versatile and riveting teller of Appalachian and Texas tales and stories of heroic American women, though her personal stories are arguably her best. Invariably hilarious and poignant, she is a repeated favorite at the National Storytelling Festival. A mother and grandmother, she makes her home in Dallas, Texas. Her website is www.elizabethellis.com .

Lori Olmstead
Lori Olmstead has been working and volunteering in education for years. She has developed elementary storytelling programs that teaches children to love literature and the magic of imagination. The founder of our little festival, we are thrilled to welcome her home once again to the community that she forever changed for the better with her storytelling skills.
