Cascade Community Theatre: "Noises Off"
Called the funniest farce ever written, "Noises Off" presents a manic menagerie as a cast of itinerant actors rehearsing a flop called "Nothing's On". Doors slamming, onstage and backstage intrigue, and an errant herring all figure in the plot of this hilarious and classically comic play. (Mature themes - discretion is advised)
Make it a date night! Girl Scout Troop 3052 will be providing childcare on location from 6 - 10 pm for the Friday March 15th and Saturday March 16th performances. Preschool and older. $10.00 per child or $20.00 per family. Reservations recommended.
"The most dexterously realized comedy ever about putting on a comedy. A spectacularly funny, peerless backstage farce. This dizzy, well-known romp is festival of delirium." - The New York Times
"The funniest farce ever written! Never before has side-splitting taken on a meaning dangerously close to the non-metaphorically medical." - The New York Post
"As side-splitting a farce as I have seen. Ever? Ever." - The New York Magazine
"Noises Off" is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.
