Tacoma Mountaineers Climbing Wall Dinner
The Mountaineers and the Tacoma Climbing Wall Committee invite you to a special evening celebrating climbing with the Tacoma Mountaineers, past, present and future, and to kick off the final phase of fundraising for the OUTDOOR CLIMBING WALL at the newly renovated Tacoma Program Center.
The evening will kick off with entertainment by Tacoma Mountaineer Jeff Evans of Amazement Productions our very own climbing Magician!
A three course dinner will be provided by Tacoma Mountaineer and chef-extraordinaire Joy Parobek, who has provided mouthwatering home-cooked and baked fare in the backcountry for a generation of Mountaineers.
The highlight of the evening will be a presentation by Eric Simonson Tacoma Mountaineer, author, co-owner of International Mountain Guides, and internationally recognized as one of the world's premiere mountaineering expedition leaders, specializing in climbs of Mt. Everest and the other classic 8,000m peaks of the Himalaya. In addition, there will be other surprise speakers.
Diring the evening, the design of the recently-ordered Tacoma Program Center indoor climbing wall will be unveiled installation will be complete by the end of June 2013!
