Alternative Universes: An Evening With Lev Kalman
Hot on the heels of the world premiere of Lev Kalman and Whitney Horn's new "spa western" TWO PLAINS AND A FANCY, Kalman - best known for prior features L FOR LEISURE (2014) and BLONDES IN THE JUNGLE (2011), which played Spectacle - will be joining us for a ONE NIGHT ONLY presentation of moving image works in loose chronological order- including Lev and Whitney's 2007 webseries HALLOWEEN FACE (never before seen in public!) and a rare glimpse at the recent commissioned short film UNTITLED, which has never before played New York City. Alongside odds/ends/influences/detours, Kalman will be on hand for a post-screening discussion of the duo's evolution as a team, and the signature Lev/Whitney flavor!
