Heyday Farm "Chef in the Garden Series" Featuring Chef Bobby Moore
In celebration of the summer solstice, Chef Tadao Mitsui and Heyday Farm House are excited to welcome Bobby Moore, Executive Chef of Barking Frog Restaurant at Willows Lodge. Chef Bobby will be joining Chef Tad at the farm to create some lively and fresh dishes straight from our kitchen gardens.
Chef Bobby's love and experience with the world's foods started early as his family made their home in different parts of the world. He began his career dishwashing at his best friends parents restaurant at 15 and has expanded his knowledge, talent and experience ever since. Chef Bobby is proud of the work he does with Farestart, a program helping disadvantaged families and individuals, as well being invited to cook at the prestigious James Beard House in 2008 & 2014.
Back at the farm, the garden is bursting with possibilities, the table is set, the white wines are chilling, and it is almost officially Summer in the Pacific Northwest. This June 21st, is the solstice and our signal to celebrate the upcoming Summer season, and that is just what we have planned.
Guests will be greeted with a welcoming bite & sip of bubbles and invited to stroll the farm gardens. The chefs will share stories of their dishes and inspirations that come from all the bounty of our region, then everyone will make their way inside for the meal. Chef Bobby and Chef Tad will serve a 5-course meal designed and prepared in collaboration to highlight the flavors of the summer's offerings.
Price includes a 5 course meal, welcoming bubbles, and gratuity. All tickets are non-refundable, however, they are transferable to another person for this event. In the event of a cancellation by guest chef or the dinner in general, full purchase price shall be refunded.
Wine can be purchased by the glass or bottle during dinner service.
