Kathy Mata Ballet is pleased to announce its Thirtieth Anniversary theater performance in the beautiful, state of-the-art theater at Mercy High School, San Francisco.
The program will feature "Orpheus in the Underworld," a full-length classical, romantic, mystical, and adventurous story ballet, set on the entire company of volunteer dancers -- as well as their newest contemporary ballet medley, which includes modern and musical theater, plus guest performances!

Admission is free, although additional funds are welcomed.
All proceeds support the company's expenses, such as renting rehearsal and performance space.
We look forward to seeing you at the show!

History:
Founded in 1988, Kathy Mata Ballet is one of few dance companies in the U.S. to provide talented adults from non-dance professions with opportunities to train and perform, rehearsing several times a week, on top of their regular work days. The company has an emphasis on community service and regularly performs at senior centers and other community organizations across the Bay Area/San Francisco. Their performances (free of charge or by donation) benefit local charities.
