Hampton Beach Comedy Festival Hosted by Jimmy Dunn
Comedian Jimmy Dunn and Scamps Comedy present the Eighth Annual Hampton Beach Comedy Festival hosted by Jimmy Dunn. Each year, the HBCF produces four nights of great comedy showcases at the New Hampshire seacoast resort's iconic Ashworth by the Sea, 295 Ocean Boulevard, featuring New England's best comedians.
New this year: Patron Passes for all four shows for just $50 (not transferable).
Jimmy Dunn, a Hampton resident who has performed stand-up comedy and surfed all over the world, is the headliner-host of all four shows. A former cast member of the CBS sitcom The McCarthy's, Dunn has performed stand-up nationally on Conan and The Late Show with David Letterman, and as an actor on the Judd Apatow series Love on Netflix. He has also appeared in multiple roles on NESN -- notably as the "voice" on the dating show Sox Appeal, on the Red Sox Pre-Game Show, and in a series of funny commercials for Olympia Sports. He can be heard regularly on the Two Boston Guys Whack Up a Pie with fellow comedian Tony V.
Shows run from Thursday through Sunday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20, available on line, by calling (800) 838-3006, and at the Ashworth by the Sea, 295 Ocean Boulevard, Hampton. Tickets will also be available at the door (cash only).
