Easy (with Loser Leaves Town)
Easy, short for Isidoro, a former race car driver, is given a new job far from the racing circuits: taking a coffin, with the body of an Ukrainian bricklayer, from Italy to a small mountain village in Ukraine. But he quickly gets lost after the border. His lifetime adventure can begin. A selection of the Locarno Film Festival, Easy is a comedic journey of discovery through foreign lands for its hero, a beautifully paced film that takes full advantage of its gorgeous settings and the unique situations in which he finds himself. Expected to Attend: Director Andrea Magnani.
Preceded by the short film "Loser Leaves Town" -- Jose, an 11-year-old luchador, retreats into a fantasy world to connect with a part of himself he feels slipping away. When he encounters a tough 12-year-old girl, he finds his sanctuary world being infiltrated by the real one. Shot entirely on LBI and in Manahawkin. Director Mark Nickelsburg expected in attendance.
