Los Angeles Valley College department of Theater Arts in collaboration with the Valley Collegiate Players present a brand new world premiere adaptation of J.M. Barrie's classic tale of love, flying and Neverland based on the 1911 novel, PETER AND WENDY.
The cast features LAVC students Caitlin Ary, Katherine Arevalo, Ruben Hernandez, Jason Blanco, Ana Maria Saavedra, Leandro Dottavio, Kate Reinking, Lisa Marie Woods, Natasha Kaneda, Monica Michele Fleming, Aurora Sanchez, Janet Cha, Joclyn Palucho, Tiana Goss, Shanti Smith-Mensah, Eliana Amundsen, Marena Rosado, Logan Wright, Iselle Pena, Isabella Oliveira, Douglas Bruner, Francisco Yasin, Shahid Thoronka, Conrad Cruz, Josephus Williams, Mara Aguilar, Crystal McCondichie. The Production Stage Manager is Louis Lake.
The Set and Lighting Designs are by LAVC Theater professor Jennifer L. Read. Costume Design by Mary Reilly. Musical Director is Andrew Orbison. Choreographer is Katherine Ko.
All evening performances are at 7:30pm (note the new time for us!!) in the Horseshoe Theater, Los Angeles Valley College. Our official opening night is Wednesday, March 20 and performances continue March 21, 22 and 23 with a 2pm matinee on Saturday March 23. After the performance on Thursday, March 21, the audience is invited to stay and chat with the cast and production crew.
