Four-time Emmy Award-winner Judy Tates play Fast Blood kicks off the festival. Fast Blood takes place in the antebellum South where a lynched slave, who has committed an unspeakable crime, mysteriously calls to one of the few married slave couples, beginning a journey from vengeance to justice for both women and men, and blacks and whites.
