The Extreme Weather Challenge: What You Can Do
Temperatures are rising in Tucson and the desert Southwest. Are you and your family prepared for an extended heat season? Physicians for Social Responsibility recommend preparing your household and connecting with your neighbors in order to weather extreme heat and even power outage. Come learn how on Wednesday, May 16, 7-8 pm at the Sam Hughes Elementary School Library, 700 N. Wilson Ave. between 3rd & 4th Streets.
As our Tucson climate gets hotter and drier, it is not unthinkable that we could have several days of extended extreme heat. Any interruption of power will be an added stress. The more prepared we are, the better off we will be. Come learn easy steps you can take to increase your resilience in your home and your neighborhood!
