Sara Davis Buechner, Pianist
Noted for her Intelligence, integrity, and all-encompassing technical prowess (The New York Times), Sara Davis Buechner is one of the most vital concert pianists of our time and has been a soloist with the New York Philharmonic, San Francisco Symphony, and the Philadelphia Orchestra. Spanning three centuries and continents, the program features Beethoven's Sonata in C minor op. 13 "Pathétique," Weber's Sonata No. 1 in C major op. 24, Joaquín Nin-Culmell's Danzas Cubanas, and Buechner's own Escenas callejeras del Bronx.
