Finnriver Craft Course: Self care through flowers

Finnriver Craft Course: Experience the season of locally grown flowers by designing a personalized floral crown or garland.

Class Description:
In this class we will explore the wildly beautiful textures, scents, and colors that flowers express. Using a mix of flowers grown on the farm and wild-crafted foliage, learn how to design and create a personalized flower crown or garland for yourself. We will also learn about edible flowers, how to incorporate them into your meals, baths, and as a practice of self-care. Nourish your soul with an afternoon of self-care through local flowers and community.

Course Format/Location:

Finnriver's mission is to grow community and help inspire a deeper connection to the land that sustains us.

For Summer 2018 the Craft Course workshop series will be offered on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month from 11am-2pm from June through September in our rustic Hay Barn -- at the Finnriver Cider Garden in Chimacum, Washington.

Courses are led by local artists/instructors with a passion to create and share their skills and wisdom.

Please note, attendees must be 15 years old to register for a Craft Course at Finnriver, or have permission of instructor.

Biography of Instructor:

Lacey Allred is the passionate force behind Sweet Seed Flower Farm. Growing fresh cut flowers with sustainable practices, she offers a weekly CSA, designs for weddings/events, and loves weaving her community together throughout the seasons.

Course fees vary and course class includes:

- A cider token for free draft pour of per participant
- Farmware Store coupon: 20% off purchases, valid day-of event only

CANCELLATION:

A minimum of 6 pre-registered students will be required one week prior to the event or the course will be cancelled.
