Greg and Kate's marriage is stagnating until Greg takes a walk in Central Park and finds a stray dog he names Sylvia. As he becomes more enamored of his new-found pet, Kate worries about his sanity and her own place in his life. Sounds pretty serious? The clever gimmick of the show is that Sylvia is played by an attractive young woman who has the ability to express herself in very human ways. Add three eccentric people that Greg and Kate encounter along the way and the laughs come loud and often.
