Introduction to Sculptural Wireworking with Kristin Tollefson
Explore the transformative potential of line into dimensional form in this one-day introduction to sculptural wire working. From tinkering and industrial wirework to weaving and stitching, students will gain both historical and hands-on understanding of this readily accessible medium. Come away from this workshop with a wealth of information and a selection of technical samples including coiling, twisting, linking, soumak, and basketweaving, and more. All experience levels welcome, students under 14 with prior instructor permission.
