TOPIC: Avoiding Inadvertent Waiver of Claims and Ensuring Perfection of Rights in the Event of a Dispute
Participants will discuss ways to improve their conduct in the field and in the office when unforeseen claims arise. What have you been doing all along without even knowing how that can hurt your legal position if the dispute persists? How can you do things better? What are the best ways to fully perfect all your rights and avoid inadvertently waiving or relinquishing any part of them?
Lee Weintraub, a Board Certified Construction Lawyer, will lead the interactive discussion to identify ways, while youre still working on the job, to be fully protected should you need to pursue your legal rights later.
