Author Shawn Francis Peters reads from his book "The Infamous Harry Hayward"
Tall, trim, and charismatic with bold eyes, Harry Hayward was a gambler and a plotter of crimes great and small. Author Shawn Francis Peters gives us a fascinating true account of Hayward and the ill-fated romance with dressmaker/entrepreneur Katherine (Kitty) Ging. The sensational tale of her murder, his seven-week trial and eventual hanging for it captivated Gilded Age audiences in Minneapolis and across the nation. Peters will talk about the book and sign copies.
Seating is limited; please reserve your tickets in advance. $5; $3 for seniors or students; free for museum members.
Visiting the museum at this time does require the use of stairs.
