Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant Tours - Doors Open Burlington

Enjoy a behind-the-scenes tour of the Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant during this year's Doors Open Burlington!

Please note, pre-registration for tours has ended, limited spaces are available the day of, first come, first served.

The Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant provides the final cleaning process/treatment of wastewater for the City of Burlington. Through a series of filtration processes, the facility has the capacity to treat and discharge the equivalent of over 56 Olympic pools of clean water into Hamilton Harbour, Lake Ontario every day.

The Skyway Wastewater Treatment Plant will be offering three tour slots during Doors Open Burlington on September 29,2018.

Pre-registration is required to tour the facility and each tour will be capped at 40 tour participants.

*Not recommended for children. All participants must wear flat, close-toed shoes.

First Tour: 11:00 a.m.

Second Tour: 1:00 p.m.

Third Tour: 3:00 p.m.
