"Murder at Cafe Noir"

Orcutt Community Theater presents a unique and atmospheric Interactive Mystery Dinner Theater Fundraiser, "Murder at Cafe Noir," a comic tribute to the Humphrey Bogart movies of the 1940's, at Moxie Cafe, 1317 W. McCoy Lane, Santa Maria. A catered gourmet dinner evoking the French Caribbean island setting will be served, and a No-host bar (wine & beer only) is provided. A piano and mysterious, sultry chanteuse will provide period musical interludes.The black and white movie theme will be evident in decor and costumes, and patrons are asked to join fun by dressing in either black and white and/or in 1940's attire.

Synopsis: A body has been found on the beach of Tobago Cay, and Rick Archer, a P.I. in a trench coat looking for a rich man's runaway daughter, must solve the case to save her. To do that he must investigate the sleazy regulars at Cafe Noir, the island's only nightclub, to find the truth before he's caught in the murderer's crosshairs.
