Sing For Our Lives
On May 12th, Mothers Day Eve, Vanguard Theater Company hosts a benefit, Sing For Our Lives," celebration of creation, life and love. The proceeds of the event will go to co-sponsors, Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Students Demand Action, and Everytown for Gun Safety. Student artists from Rutgers and the Montclair area will be joined by Broadway performers, as well as Princess Sabaroche and Elijah Brown, two of the speakers at Newarks March For Our Lives. Sing For Our Lives will include storytelling, spoken word poetry, theater scenes, choral performances, and other live music, and will be appropriate for all ages.
