Ride the Rails for Hunt Hill
Travel aboard the Wisconsin Great Northern Railroad Dinner Train out of Spooner, Wisconsin for a unique dining experience during a 3-hour train ride. Upon boarding you can stop in the lounge car for a cocktail before settling into a comfortable loveseat. Next, head to your table in the dining car where your server will bring an appetizer plate, followed by a fresh dinner salad, a cup of soup and then your choice of one of 5 preselected entrees. After dinner, you will delight in a generous slice of Elis Gourmet Cheese Cake.
While you dine, the train will journey at a leisurely pace with a constantly changing landscape through deep woods, past farm fields and along the scenic Namekagon River. After the train returns to the station around 9 pm, it remains open all night so you wont have to be in a hurry to leave.
Through the support of the WGNR, the entire cost of your ticket will be donated to Hunt Hill and then doubled for our Million Dollar Match Campaign! The money raised supports environmental programs and ensures the sanctuary can continue to stay open for all to enjoy. Tickets must be purchased through Hunt Hill and are $100 for 2 people (plus cash bar). Ticket price includes the train ride, plus the 4-course elegant dinner. The Dinner train departs between 5 pm and 6 pm Tuesday through Saturday, between now and December 22, 2018.
Once youve purchased your tickets on BPT, we will mail your Hunt Hill Express Certificate. This certificate is necessary for when you call Western Great Northern Railroad to make a reservation and to board the train. Please note the Dinner Train is extremely popular and often books well in advance.
Be sure to include your address when you register so we can mail you your certificate with code.
