Death by Design

San Leandro Players Presents: "Death by Design" (by Rob Urbinati; directed by Sage Hindley): Take the urbane wit of Noel Coward, add the plot twists of Agatha Christie, throw in a mix of sparkling characters and you have Death by Design. When a guest at the English country home of Edward and Sorel Bennett (a noted British playwright and actress) ends up dead, the feisty Irish maid takes it upon herself to determine who done it. A parade of zany characters provide fun, laughs and pratfalls as we try to determine who the culprit is. Is it the passionate Bolshevik, the Bohemian artist, the mysterious ingenue, the young chauffeur from the wrong side of town or the hosts themselves? Join us as we follow the zany cast as they try to uncover the truth only to discover the truly shocking answer!
