Urban Foraging for Begginers- Spring edition
At the Baltimore Free Farm we are trying to foster a culture where people have a direct relationship with their food, and are encouraged to tend to and expand wildspaces wherever they are.
In this workshop we will be looking at wild spring edible and medicinal plants that are easily found in urban setting and in our area. We will explore the inherent value in plants commonly considered as garden weeds. We will also explore the ethics, safety, and harvesting practices as they directly related to Baltimore City. We want people to leave with a solid foundation of plant identification and a new found appreciation for plants we often identify as nuisances.
$5-$20 No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Limit of 15 people.
