Musical Theatre Audition Prep with Michelle Aravena, Stephanie Cowan, and Annaleigh Ashford

In our first Professional Workshop of 2018-2019 (May 5 & 6), Animus focuses on the process of auditioning for musical theatre. Led by Michelle Aravena (A Bronx Tale; Rocky; Jersey Boys; A Chorus Line), participants will be given one-on-one coaching as well as group work on prepared singing cuts, monologues, and dance numbers. Ms. Aravena will be joined by Stephanie Cowan, Producer (Amelie; Oh, Hello) and Casting Associate from Michael Cassara Casting, thus giving participants top-level perspectives from both sides of the table and individual attention.

The workshop will begin with a panel discussion/Q&A with industry-leading professionals, including Tony-Award Winner Annaleigh Ashford (Sunday in the Park with George; Sylvia; Kinky Boots; Legally Blonde) as well as additional professionals to be announced.

The workshop will run 10AM-5PM both Saturday, May 5 and Sunday, May 6.

We will welcome 12 participants ($200 per person) as well as auditors ($50 one day/$75 both days).
