Keeping Seniors Mobile When They Dont Want to be in the Fast Lane
We all have a stake in keeping mobility-challenged seniors connected to the community. Fostering collaboration, developing partnerships and promoting community engagement can prevent social isolation and enable the contributions of our older adults to remain strong.
At the event you can hear more about the proposed changes to Edmonton Transit Service routes and schedules and explore how the needs of seniors can be addressed when getting to the bus stop is more difficult; planning for the first mile/last mile connection to transit service.
