Debbie Cunningham & Band at Carlisle Theatre

Join us for an evening of Jazz standards, Bossa Nova and a little blues. Debbie's band this evening includes her Nashville Pianist -Jim Michie and joining her on stage is Carlisle's own Mr. Allen Roth on Bass as well as a few other local musicians.

Debbie Cunningham is known as a powerful and engaging entertainer. Her musical styling of jazz is soulful and sultry, yet elegant and sophisticated. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Pennsylvania's Temple University. Upon graduation, Debbie married her Carlisle High School sweetheart and moved to Nashville, TN where she continued to pursue her music career as a vocalist.

As an artist, Cunningham has won over countless jazz fans in and around her adopted hometown of Nashville and beyond with the passionate live performances she plays with her quartet. Over the years she has entertained audiences at Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony Center, LP Field, regional hotspots, small local theaters, wine festivals, corporate/ private and charity events across Middle, TN and Carlisle's First Night in 2010 & 2011.

Cunningham comes back to central PA with a brand new album-A Million Kisses -and a book deal. A Million Kisses is a blend of Swing and Latin styled jazz original love songs. It is her 2nd album but first, all original and self produced project. Additionally, she has a book being released with Morgan James Publishing-
Dancing in the Kitchen: Hope and Help for Staying in Love. In it Cunningham shares stories behind the songs on the new album, lessons from her 30 years of marriage and interviews from couples that have walked through difficult seasons of their relationship and stayed together.
