The Young Directors

Meet our Young Directors,

Mallory Brodeur and Liz Frederick

Although distance and time separated Mallory and Liz. Their interests and passions bring them together.

They were introduced to each other 10 years ago, lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons at a local pool. They spent long days dealing with summer camps, pesky kids, and bonding over the amount of perspiration collected while standing in the hot Sacramento sun.

After both women stopped working at the pool, there lives took them in different directions and they lost contact without the consistent summer job. However, both Mallory and Liz pursued the same passion. The love of theater found both women and their passion for creating stories brought them back together for the one-act emerging directors' performance. With their history, they are able to support one other in their pursuit of directing and storytelling.
Both Mallory and Liz are grateful and excited to work together once again and present The Zoo Story by Edward Albee and Thin Walls by Steve Cirrone.
