Tuesdays in the Newsroom: Meet the Chiefs
This month, the Vineyard Gazette welcomes the Vineyard's police chiefs to the newsroom for a frank discussion of the issues and challenges of policing on Martha's Vineyard.
Participating in the discussion will be Chief Erik Blake of Oak Bluffs, Chief Randhi Belain of Aquinnah, Chief Jonathan Klaren of Chilmark, Chief Bruce McNamee of Edgartown, and Sheriff Bob Ogden of Dukes County.
Tuesdays in the Newsroom is a monthly speaker series sponsored by the Vineyard Gazette in the off season. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. for a short reception, followed by the program, which ends promptly at 7 p.m. Admission is free for subscribers to the Gazette and $10 for nonsubscribers; advance registration is required.
