Cheese Eugene with Liz Thorpe
Join Restaurant Eugene in hosting author and national cheese expert Liz Thorpe for a meet & greet and tasting of 6 cheeses. In her brand new book, The Book of Cheese, Liz maps out nearly 400 cheeses of the world from 9 generic types you've almost certainly heard of, and probably already tasted. These "Gateway Cheeses" are your point of entry to a specific flavor range-- start with a cheese you know you like, and find half a dozen more that you will love. We'll use the Brie, Manchego and Blue Gateways as jumping-off points for our tasting.
Tickets are offered at two price levels- with the book, or without- and are non-refundable.
