Speaker Series | Save the Evidence
Save the Evidence is a campaign to repair and refurbish the former Mohawk Institute Residential School - one of only two residential school buildings left standing in Ontario - for use as an interpreted historic site. Carlie Myke, Outreach Coordinator at the Woodland Cultural Centre, leads a discussion on the significance of the building, the critical repairs being done, and the unique position of the school as a reminder of a very dark chapter in Canadian history.
Tickets are $10.00 each, and include a glass of wine upon arrival. This is a licensed event, minors must be accompanied by an adult. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the presentation will begin at 7:00 pm.
