Bridges and Barriers: SRJC Spring Dance Concert Spring 2018

Join SRJC Dance Department for the Spring Dance Concert Bridges and Barriers on May 4,5,6th at the Beautiful Santa Rosa High School Performing Arts Auditorium Theatre. Bridges and Barriers features exciting new dance work by student choreographers and SRJC dance alumni, hard-hitting Hip hop from Auxilary Dance Company, sensational pieces by SRJCs talented Dance Faculty, and a unique fusion of Modern Jitting by guest choreographer Joslynn Mathies-Reed, all of which are guaranteed to light up the stage.

With the spotlight on community, this years production theme, Bridges and Barriers, is a reverie on discovering connection, recognizing and deconstructing inner walls, and overcoming divisions. The performance showcases the spectrum of talent in modern, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, lyrical, musical theatre, and contemporary dance genres for a full dynamic evening of dance.

Student choreographers for this performance are selected through a rigorous adjudication process and dancers selected by intensive auditions. They are SRJC finest! This dynamic performance will surpass the borders of what you would normally experience in a dance concert!
