kamrDANCE Presents: Defining Characteristics: an evening of film and dance
Come see kamrDANCE in their first evening length performance at SMUSH Gallery (340 Summit Ave) in Jersey City! Friday, May 4th and Saturday, May 5th at 8 PM.

This evening of dance and film will include viewing kamrDANCE's film "No More No More" and the premiere of their newest film creation "Deconstructed". The films will be followed by an adaptation of one of kamrDANCE's original pieces of repertoire "settle, rebound, repeat", followed by the anticipated premiere of their new work "Defining Characteristics". Food and wine will be provided for a small suggested donation. Doors will open at 7:30, show will start at 8 PM and is one hour in length. There will be a post show reception. Seating is very limited, secure your seats early!

Prior to the show, on Sunday, April 29th from 2-3:30 at SMUSH Gallery, Alexis Robbins will be teaching an open level class titled "Making Dances: a kamrDANCE workshop fusing body rhythms and modern movement". Come experience Alexis' choreographic process and gain some insight before the show! Suggested price $10, $5 for students.
