Brian Conroy's "The Vegan Monologues"
The Vegan Monologues cooks up an organic brand of humor that simmers with irreverence and strips meat from the bone of self-righteous vegetarians and meat eaters alike. Blending equal parts fantasy and autobiographical tales with a pinch of spoken word poetry and a dash of jazz recitative, Brian Conroy dishes it out in earthy portions as only a vegetarian can. Stirring it up with a vegan menu ranging from a revisionist version of the Garden of Eden story, to a vision of the future in which women with vegetables prevent world war, to a romp on the beach with celebrity vegetarian Pamela Anderson, Brian Conroy goes where no vegetarian has gone before.
