Join us for an evening of celebration and inspiration! Seattle AWIS is honored to recognize four outstanding women who have advanced their fields of scientific research, education and outreach. They are leaders and innovators whose work has made an impact. They are mentors and inspiring role models for students and other professionals.|
We will be honoring Dr. Colleen Delaney, from Fred Hutch and Nohla Therapeutics, for Scientific Advancement & Leadership in STEM; Dr. Elizabeth Nance, from UW Chemical Engineering and Radiology, for Early Career Achievement in STEM; Dr. Beverly Torok-Storb, from Fred Hutch, for Excellence in Science Education/Outreach, and Dr. Fran Solomon, from Western Washington University, Huxley College of the Environment on the Peninsulas, as Outstanding Seattle AWIS Member.
At this event we will be presenting the chapter's 2018 undergraduate scholarship recipients.
This event also serves as a fundraiser for our undergraduate Scholarship Program. We will be accepting donations, both online and at the event.
Photographs will be taken at this event for use on our Seattle AWIS website and in other Seattle AWIS publications and media material. By attending our event, you are consenting to being photographed by Seattle AWIS and having your image and likeness used for Seattle AWIS-related purposes.

All ticket sales/registration ends at noon on Friday, June 8, 2018, or earlier if the seating maximum is reached before then.
There is free parking at the venue and there is street parking in the area. Please consider carpooling, taxi/Uber or using buses that run on NE 45th St.

We encourage you to donate generously to the AWIS Scholarship Fund. Undergraduate women studying science, technology, engineering or math at a Washington college or university are selected based on outstanding letters of recommendation, financial need, community service and a strong interest in pursuing a career in STEM.
