Zhanbo Zheng performs in Piedmont
Zhanbo Zheng, violist from China, will soon perform at the Piedmont Center for the Arts on Friday, May 18th at 7:30.p.m. He has won numerous competitions, the most recent being second place with the prestigious Irving M. Klein International String Competition. After having graduated from the University of Beijing, Mr. Zheng is now furthering his studies at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. He is quickly establishing himself as a solo violist on many important stages of the world. The Piedmont Center for the Arts is located at 801 Magnolia Ave., Piedmont, CA. 94611. General admission will be $25.00 and for students 18 years and younger will be $15.00. Advance ticket purchases through BrownPaperTickets are $23.00 This very exciting performance will feature works of Bach, Knox, Paganini and Brahms. Mr. Zheng will be accompanied by the prominent Bay Area pianist Miles Graber. Reception to follow.
