Mount Mary's CREO 2018 FASHION SHOW "Mode Uninhibited"
NOTICE: You may purchase tickets IN-PERSON at the Mount Mary University Bookstore now through 12 Noon on Thursday, May 10th, WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. Bookstore hours are: Mo-Th 9a-6p.
This year's Creo fashion show on May 11 will feature the up-and-coming designers of tomorrow and include a look back through 50 years of student-produced shows.
Creo is taken from the Latin word to "make, create or produce" and refers to the University's annual celebration of creativity from the School of Arts and Design.
This live fashion show production is organized and executed by merchandise management students who spend a sememester planning every detail of the event. The show, themed "Mode Uninhibited," features over 80 garments from senior, junior and sophomore students in fashion design.
There will be shows at 1:30 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at the Bloechl Center on the Mount Mary Campus. Parking is free, and tickets range from $30 to $45. Seating is general admission (unassigned--first-come, first-serve), and doors open one hour before show time.
A discount of $5 off per ticket is available for groups of ten or more for the 6 p.m. show, while supplies last.
A cash-bar reception will be held in BERGSTROM HALL Dining Rooms along with the Art and Design Senior Exhibitions directly following both the 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. fashion shows.
The Art + Design Senior Exhibitions are open daily through May 11.
