Fruit Tree Pruning and Grafting Workshop
WHEN: Saturday, March 24th (9am-4pm): Hands on Experience
WHERE: WSU Mount Vernon Northwestern Washington Research and Extension Center, 16650 State Rte 536, Mount Vernon, WA 98273
WHAT: This workshop will provide classroom discussion combined with hands-on practice, focusing primarily on apple and pear trees.
COST: Registration fee of $75
Includes handouts, lunch on the 24th, and grafted trees to take home.
Tools are not included in the registration fee. Each attendee should bring their own pruner, lopper, and grafting knife. These tools can be purchased at a local hardware store or online sites such as http://www.terrebonnelimited.com
