Begin the evening from 6-7 p.m. at our Wine & Dessert Reception featuring selections from Brookfield's own winery, Water2Wine.
Then don't miss the free poetry & jazz performance at 7 p.m., featuring author Lenard D. Moore and Dennis Klopfer's jazz trio.
A renowned poet, Moore captures poignant snapshots of life while blending music and spoken word when performing his poetry to the accompaniment of blues, jazz and symphonic orchestras. Moore's poems, essays and reviews have appeared in over 400 publications. His poetry has been translated into several languages to reach audiences around the world. He is the author of a number of poetry collections including his most recent, A Temple Looming.
