Airmail Centenary Welcome Reception
To mark the 100th Anniversary of airmail, three Stearman Speedmail biplanes will retrace the route from San Diego to Seattle, arriving at Historic Flight on Friday May 18.

Please join us for dinner, an evening of camaraderie and a presentation on the history of airmail flying.

Greet the pilots and crew and view up-close these rare vintage aircraft that flew the route exactly 100 Years after the first Government Airmail Flight in May, 1918.

The evening's activities include:

Dinner catered by The Red Cork Bistro featuring your choice of grilled steak or salmon.

Airmail presentation by lead pilot Addison Pemberton.

This evening of airmail history preludes the 23rd annual Paine Field Aviation Day on Saturday, 19 May -- the opening day of the 2018 flying season.
Historic presentations, aircraft static displays and flying demonstrations, a beer garden for war stories, and hands-on children's activities are among the many opportunities for you to experience history in motion.
