2018 Grand Slam Championship
On April 25th at Hales Palladium, ten of Seattle's top spoken word poets will face off in Rain City's annual Grand Slam Championship. This literary showdown will decide who represents Rain City Poetry Slam at the 2018 National Poetry Slam in Chicago, IL. Poetic passion? Healing, humanity, and howling harangues? Daring declamations of derring-do? You'll see all that and more!
The 2018 Grand Slam is hosted by Seattle spoken word legend Imani Sims and headlined by Christopher Michael, President of Poetry Slam Inc., and a 20-year Texas slam stalwart. Consistently one of the top-ranked poets in slam, Christopher has performed, competed, and coached at all levels of national competition.
TICKETS Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for under 21/student. Tickets will be available at the door for $15 general admission, $7 for under 21/student.
