Keigwin Dance at the Gym Auditions
At KEIGWIN + COMPANY, we have a long history of compelling, joyous and poignant community projects. These experiences are the bedrock of our company (and most companies). I have noticed that dancers don't usually join my company with tools for approaching exchanges with non-dancer population. I also see how powerful outreach can be for community members and artists alike.
And so, we are offering a new type of experience.
Dancers: Join us in creating and implementing a community exchange. We will share our tools, and tailor an approach for the incoming group.
Colorado Springs Community: Join us for a week of rehearsals, to create a piece with New York dancers, and perform it at the Green Box Arts Festival!
