Kabuki Performance Workshops
Series of 3 performer workshops geared toward learning the basics of kabuki movement, vocal techniques and character types. Held at the Hamline University Dance Studio.
Workshop I - Saturday March 24: 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Kabuki movement & classical Japanese dance.
Workshop II - Saturday March 24: 3 pm - 5:30 pm
Kabuki Vocal Techniques.
Workshop III - Sun March 25: Noon - 3 pm
A more advanced workshop focused on kabuki character and scene work.
No experience necessary.
