Chatham Animal Haven is proud to present Kevin Weldon and Craig Cunningham as The Backdoor Boys, in their new show "Better With A Man"
The Backdoor Boys are not quite like other Boy Bands. In their new show Better With A Man they draw on material from the musical theater, classic American Standards, and the counter culture music scene. In the tradition of Broadway Backwards, and reviews like Whoop-de-Doo!, and When Pigs Fly,they sing and joke their way through contemporary life.
Separately they have crisscrossed the globe performing on Broadway, throughout the US, Canada, the Middle East and Europe. Audiences have enjoyed their work on radio, television and many other venues including Radio City Music Hall, concert stages of Europe and intimate cabaret clubs on New York City, like Feinstein's 54 Below, Dont Tell Mamas and Eighty Eights.
Together they have become a crowd favorite in the
Berkshires, Chatham, NY and Club Helsinki in Hudson, NY. They put a new spin on some old favorites and explore lesser known socially and politically satirical numbers.
Doors open at 7:00 pm. Wine, beer and light food included. The show begins at 8:00 pm.
