The Red Mill
A full costumed performance of Victor Herbert's classic 1906 Broadway operetta with full orchestra and sets.
Directed by Taconic Opera director Dan Montez and conducted by Jun Nakabayashi, this delightful show was one of Victor Herbert's first big successes, making him both famous and wealthy.
The Troupers cast stars Nate Brian and Steven Faulk as Con Kidder and Kid Conner, along with Jamie Caporizo as Tina, Brett Kroeger as Gretchen and Donald Haviland as Davis.
Also featured are John Matilaine as the Burgomaster, Wendy Falconer as his outspoken sister Bertha and Jim Cooper as Tina's exasperated father and innkeeper Willem.
Also featured are Bob Scrofani as the Governor of Zeeland, Martin Diamond as the Sheriff and Linda Palmer as the Countess, and Rob Strom as Featherstonhaugh (that's Fanshaw!).
