Valley Girls
San Mateo High School has the rare opportunity to be the first to perform Valley Girls, a new play written by Jake Rosenberg, a young New York-based playwright who has already amassed impressive credits on both coasts. Valley Girls presents the experiences and accomplishments of women, including a transgender woman, working in the Silicon Valley technology industry in 1958, and revisits these women in 1977, two decades later.
