When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy and her dog, Toto, are whisked away to the Magical Land of Oz where they meet Glinda the Good Witch and the Munchkins who send her down the Yellow Brick Road. Along the way, she is joined by a Scarecrow who needs a brain, a Tinman in search of a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who wishes he had courage. They continue their journey toward the Emerald City to meet the Wizard, all the while trying to avoid capture by the Wicked Witch of the West and her flying monkey minions.
