The Last Speech (A Brandon Hughes Production)
On April 3, 1968, the day before he was assassinated, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his final speech, Ive Been to the Mountaintop, at Mason Temple in Memphis, TN. In honor of Dr. King on the 50th year anniversary, April 3, 2018, Brandon Hughes will reenact King's last speech in its entirety, and the church atmosphere in Memphis will attempt to be recaptured at Amos Temple in Oakland.
