The Stand-Up Seminary - Level 2 - Tuesday - April 2018
The Lincoln Lodge is proud to announce the creation and debut of The Stand-Up Seminary Level 2 course. This course is offered and available to all former Stand-up Seminary students who wish to build upon their learning and experiences with instructor Ricky Gonzalez.
Level 2 consists of 6 sessions. Instead of a classroom setting, level 2 puts students directly on stage in a proper theater open mic setting. All students are required to attend the entire session from 7pm-9pm. When they are not performing, they will create a supportive audience for each other. At the conclusion of each session, students are welcome to stay to received feedback from the instructor or request feedback in an email correspondence.
All sessions are invite only for performers. However, all performers are welcome to invite guests who wish to be apart of the audience during any of the sessions.
Week #6 will be a graduation show.
The teacher for this class session is Ricky Gonzalez
The six weekly 2 hour sessions of this course will focus on:
Performing in a live show setting
Gaining confidence as a performer
Exploring the editing and re writing process
Development of material.
Finding an attitude and persona.
Connecting with an audience.
Creating a cohesive set.
Class Schedule is as follows -
Monday, April 16th at 7pm
Monday, April 23rd at 7pm
Monday, April 30th at 7pm
Monday, May 7th at 7pm
Monday, May 14th at 7pm
Graduation show - Wednesday, May 16th at 8pm
REFUND Policy: Full refunds are available any time up to 48 hours before the first class commences. Refunds after that time are at the course administrator's discretion. Once classes have commenced it is NOT possible to get either a full or partial refund. If you are unable to complete the entire course in some extenuating circumstances we can allow you to complete the course at a subsequent session provided adequate space is available. This is subject to course administrator's discretion.
ROLLOVER Policy: If you are not able to participate in class after registration and the refund window has expired you can potentially roll your registration over to the next course session provided space is available. This is subject to course administrator's discretion and a $40 administration fee.
